Re: [GNC] consolidate transactions report

2018-08-06 Thread Cindy Doughty
I only converted the one custom report back in June to work with Version
3. Since I haven't heard any requests so far to convert the others, I
assume that is the only one being used.

[GNC] version 3 impact on custom reports

2018-05-13 Thread Cindy Doughty
I just got back form vacation and see that version 3 has broken some of the
custom reports I developed. If Chris doesn't get them fixed, I will try to
update to version 3 and fix them in the next couple of weeks. I hope to
work on having a couple of them added to the main package put got back to
working full time after developing them last year. Just started back up a
couple of my Linux machines so I can try doing some development work over
the next few months.

The transaction report I posted today (Sept 12 2017) should be able to
search just note fields, just change the entry on the "sort" tab.

try using the new version of the transaction report I posted. It allows

The new version of the transaction report I posted has a check box named
"composite". If you check the box and select the entire year for the time
period it will give you the total for each description.

Sorry,
I misread your question. Each of the column headings will be user input, on
the same tab as the find entries. Also, planning on having a check box so
you can select if the column should be included this time or not.

Re: Any interest any new report

2017-06-29 Thread Cindy Doughty
You will be able to select which accounts will be shown on the left side.
I am planning on using a set of find command for each of the columns.
You will be able to find an account name or find a string of characters in
a description, memo or note, which ever you choose, along the lines of

*Column 2:*
*Heading: **London trip*
