I'm afraid I'm a bit of a fraud here. I have posted to the list several times in the past but I unsubscribe when I've completed my contributions. Why? This is the weirdest mail list I've ever subscribed to (the list, not the contributers :-) ). We're asked to CC to the list whereas on every other list I've used the principal is to ONLY post to the list. Here one's email address is exposed. Changing '@' to 'at' might have been OK once upon a time but AI bots are a thing these days, no? That's why I use a throw-away address. That aside, I'd rather fetch from a list than receive direct mail. In the case of gnucash-user, I can be selective in reading from the archive. [GNC] SHA for GnuCash 5.7 incorrect
The SHA hash for GnuCash 5.7 doesn't match the published one, presumeably because the published one's actually for version 5.6. So it's described. [GNC] Date/ Time locale bug
There's a problem with Preferences - Date/Time. The date format option 'Locale' is non functional being fixed on US format. The tooltip also reports 'Use the date format specified by the system locale' no matter which option is chosen. This is macOS 10.14.5 and GnuCash 3.6-1 in the UK. Right (option/alt) click on the GnuCash icon and select 'Open'from the menu. In TextEdit type in; * { font: 12px Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; } Save the file in ~/Library/Application Support/GnuCash/config/gtk-3.0 Name it; gtk.css You may find that placing the pointer over the 'Reconciled' column in an account causes the tooltip to flicker rapidly. This can be fixed by creating a new file in the same place named 'settings.ini'.
