I read the comments on this topic, but I'm just concerned about the fact
that currently, "top" is a symlink to "prstat" (in NCP 2.0), while they
can both seem equivalent, they are not (prstat).
This is Evil(tm), as both exist or will exist some day in NCP or
OpenSolaris, and this could be misleading for experienced sysadmins (and
could maybe break scripts as their options are completely different).
Please do not provide a "top" link to something else than any
implementation of "top".

this one does not support zones, etc. I would rather prefer to see Linux
one gets an OpenSolaris extensions.

That would be so cool! I hate to run /usr/sun/bin/ls for ACLs listings
every time i need it...

This top works: http://www.unixtop.org/. I don't think it's the same
one found on linux, but seems very close.

This is on my TODO list. There was limited discussion on the coreutils
list about this; the idea there was to have something platform
independent (apparently AIX and Mac-OS and others support some form of
non-POSIX ACL's too).

Is top ported to OpenSolaris yet? I'd like to see zone extensions in it
too... Also is anybody interested in porting GNU chmod and ls utilities
to work with ZFS ACL's ?

Such development, if successful, would somewhat close the gap between
SUN / GNU tools and make everybody happy, I think..
