Hi all The Aldona Institute is trying to encourage the "reading habit" in their members with the focus being on children and ladies. Hence for a start commonly read magazines such as Woman's Era, Femina, for ladies , Champak, Tinkle for kids , India Today, Health & Nutrition, Sportstar & Star Dust are made available at the (Reading)Library. This is besides the daily newspapers which are already being subscribed to.
Members & their families are requested to please make optimum use of this free facility. We now have Mr. Tolentino Fernandes to assist you as well as ensure that Library runs smoothly. Also we would like to have your feedback so to which additional magazines they would enjoy reading besides other suggestions. We will try our best to implement reasonable suggestions. An account named Aldona Institute Library Fund SB A/c No.12558 has been opened at Canara Bank Aldona Branch to manage the Fund. This will ensure that donations towards the Library will be used only for the stated purpose. We have already received donations from the following members Mr. Cecil Pinto Rs.1000/- Mr. Caji Mendonca Rs.1000/- On behalf of the members of the Aldona Institute we say " Dev Borem Korun" to both of them and their families.
