Thanks Ancy and Fr. Pratap. So, essentially Konkani never had a true 
cursive script, although I guess Hale Kannada could be written 
cursively to a certian degree.

I was hoping that there would be at least one document existing of 
Konkani written in Modi.

This is what Fr. Pratap Naik, Director of TSKK has to say about modi
script for Konkanni.

Konkani was written in Hale Kannada script in 17th century. We have
one manuscript written called Flos Sanctorum by Franciscan
Missionary Sam Anna in 1607. The original is in Public  library in
Paris. The xerox copy of this MS is in Goa University. Modi was used
in Goa to write Marathi documents.

Does anyone know whether Konkani was ever written in Modi script. Or was
there any other cursive script used to write Konkani?
