No catholic can and has ever become stronger after reading criticism on the
net . Its hope against hope. Such issues are to be handled very carefully on
the net. No doubt religious is dogmatic belief and a faith which inspires but
when you splash muck on religion one may not want to be associated with such a
belief or attach oneself to catholicism due to what one has read on the net,
irrespective of its fool proof validity.
Faith is based on what you read not what you imagine, if we have been taught
that bible has to be read everyday as it educates us , when going to church a
priest preaches about god's teachings, we read a lot of religious literature
and we form an opinion, independent opinion or due to the information that
surrounds us then we do develop strong faith because such information was
conveyed to us by the institution called Church.I may have the strongest
faith 'am a human being with what i read on the net be it good or bad i may
form a second opinion and think hundred times now.
Everything is to be criticised but let it be constructive, if you imagine most
of the articles pertain to catholic religion why? is it because most of the
people on the goanet are catholics? Let the net be a source of good
information, criticism pertaining to catholic religion or for that matter does
not provide any positive information, on the contrary it makes matter worse.
I fully agree with PAT DE SOUZA.Goanet should impose limits on religious
bashings.

why not tell us something about JIHAD(ISLAM), TELL US ABOUT HINDU,WHO ARE THE
PEOPLE WHO CREATED CHAOS IN FONTAINHAS IN REGARD TO THE PORTUGUESE NAMES?TELL
US ABOUT ZOROASTRISM, ISMAILIS,SHIAS, SUNIS,(AGHA KHAN'S)DIVORCE WITH HIS
WIFE,AND THE RELIGIONS ARE TOO MANY LET'S TAKE A TOPIC EVERYDAY ON EACH AND
EVERY RELIGION. Kindly educate all the netter on every religion.
Salus i am not against your writing but you think it the otherway, religion
has always created chaos be it Ayodhya or ramjanmabhoomi/be it Muslim jihad
v/s Americans, be it RSS role in Goa or the elsewhere, the hatred between
hindus and muslims.
Discuss religion freely and wholeheartedly but with limits as everything has a
limit. And its time Goanet thinks about it seriously .
