This comes not long after the earlier BJP government and its ideological allies went on the rampage against NGOs, for quite another set of reasons -- almost diametrically opposite.
Gomantak Times editor Sujay Gupta paints a bleak picture of tourism in the North Goa belt, and its ugly side, in an essay titled 'If you've lost your soul in North Goa, recover it in the south'.

BUILDING AN ARCHIVE OF SHARABLE IMAGES RELATED TO GOA: Would there be an interest in building up a public archive of old Goan photographs? Pictures tell a story well, and we need to collate and put out in cyberspace photographs that tell the story of Goa. If this suggestion makes sense to you, contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] We could work out ways to build an archive, which then becomes a community asset, and is available to anyone who'd like to access, republish or otherwise share it.
