This event is being organized jointly by The Vegetarian Society and The City Corporation of Panaji to make people aware of vegetarianism, which besides promoting a reverence for life also leads to a physical, mental and spiritual well-being. The festival will create an awareness about vegetarianism and expose people to different vegetarian cuisine.
Counters will be set up for promoting vegetarianism by way of literature, books and other publications. There will also be counters selling homemade preserves, snacks etc.by enterprising housewives and organizations.
There will be live music, dance and other cultural events to make the evening entertaining, pleasant and memorable.
