Whilst thanks to the Supreme Court, Goa Foundation & others, the illegal
mining scam has been bought to light, we must now re-visit the Mega-Project
nuisance. Whilst yes housing is required, what is happening in Goa is that
greedy builders are resorting to all sorts of illegalities to bring up
their monstrosities, so as to cater to the rest of India and for real
estate investors; with it damaging the environment, cutting hills, creating
toxic wastes, contaminating land, polluting water resources; for instance
it is known that Goa's ground water is polluted by so much
unnecessary/illegal construction. Not to mention the huge demographic
imbalance/change being bought upon the small Goan Population. What is more
upsetting is that the Government we voted to replace the earlier corrupt
regime now appears to be appeasing the builders and all their illegalities.
Even today in Goa, destructive Builders are colluding with Government
Bodies, Local Panchayat members and Senior Ministers in the current
government to make their illegalities 'legal'. I think there is a need to
start look at the 'incentives' given by these builders to "buy" people in
power and perhaps it will uncover another big scam of enormous proportions!!

only?
why doesnt goa make goan dishes available to tourista all the year round and to 
our youngsters who have started eating junk food instead of healthy goan food.
goa has to open stalls at the airports ralway stations and bus stops also near 
hospitals playgrounds theaters markets temples churches ,so that our food 
becomes popular .all the states sell their food in public places and they are 
very popular.why do we have to eat unhealthy junk in goa.
open stalls where the unemploed can earn their daily bread making our products 
famous .not running to dubai and other european countries to suffer 
discrimination and treated like trash by the slave masters.slavery is not 
over.our youngsters suffer racism ,are killed by exremists humiliated by the 
slave masters.we can make a paraddise in goa if we stop our youngsters fromm 
runnung away from goa and suffering at the hands of criminals.hope mr.parrikar 
reads this.

 goa has no filmy culture.only teatre and nataks and classical music ,indian as 
well as western.then why film festival and why waste goan peoples hard earned 
tax money to wine and dine bollywood .they can come and enjoy goa with their 
own money and they have plenty.
goa needs proper transport system roads and footpaths ,signals zebra 
crossing.this can be done by using the solar energy ,plenty in goa.
the so called elite in goa like the film festival as they can see a few 
uncensored western films.thats all they are worried about.the aam admi 
continues to suffer in the overcrowded irregular skeletens which are called

This is what I read in goanet many years ago. The church of Goa has been 
registered under society act of 1860. Since it is a registered society under 
which all religious bodies are registered, there are ordinary members and 
managing committee for it. They must be having annual general body meeting once 
a year and special general body meeting when required. The property of the 
church which you and I think belongs to us actually belongs to this society and 
we have no hold on this property by virtue of being parishioners. The only 
thing is that Bishop house does not want to disclose the names of the ordinary 
and governming members and also the minutes and accounts audited from time to 
time are kept a secret. This makes this society a criminal society because it 
collects money from us by fooling us that we are giving to God and using it the 
way they want. Slowly and steadly all our churches will be sold and converted 
into mauls and hotels
