Hats off to reporters of Herald who did a thorough investigation and found
a vest suspected blood stain of Bismarque after 12 days.
What kind of investigation Police have done. DIG must answer this. Those
who were on the job investigating Bismarque murder must be questioned of
their inefficiency. After insisting that this case needs to be sent to CBI,
 why the delay?
What is the use of having Crime Branch , CID, CBI in Goa when the public
cannot get the real story of this simple incident? Do we need that
newspapers to do this job?
It is not late that DIG must sent these vest stains to forensic dept not in
Goa but elsewhere and get the report soon for the public to know that this
is a crime AND NOT a drowning while swimming. What Home Dept is doing , are
they also sleeping?
Why Police plays dirty game or are they under pressure from the Government
to tarnish the image of Bismarque and make this issue as just drowning ? We
lost a great activist Bismarque who wanted Goa to remain clean and green.
INEFFICIENT POLICE MUST BE SENT BACK TO BARRACKS OR DISMISSED

BLOODY EVIDENCY , BLOODY TRUTH ON FR BISMARQUE MYSTERY DEATH

Kenedy Afonso along with 3 others saw the blood stained Jockey vest.Many
blood  stains on the upper and lower parts, It was found directly opposite
to where the body was found. On the path were tyre marks of two vehicles.
Some one had tried to hide something  by dumping loose mud and little away
the blood stained vest was found.Sister in law confirmed most probably as
his, as she washed his clothes. It appeared to be yanked of the body,
thrown off east of the hurt, edge of the river, known as Babal Manos. It
was on the road used by two boys to return home on the morning of 6 Nov.
There were marks of two wheelers and two beer cans close to the vest.
Police did not pick up the  crashed cans of drought beer. Now it will be
sent to for analysis and comparison Possibly hit with danda and also on
private parts it is presumed What explains on the gash  above the eye,
which is ignored at post  mortem by panch witness.  The police will have
more to explain for not investigating thoroughly the surrounding now done
by private individuals, who never bought the theory of drowning and the
yarn spun by the two boys There is no reference to Jackson, Jacinto,
Parmeswar accompanying Jacinto to the spot, No reference of the statement
by Sidney, about robberies., mother has denied Fr taking money, For all we
know the police has treated as sacrosanct the verbal disposition of the
two, refused to hand over the case to Crime branch, ignored Vishnu Wagh
suggestion for SIT. The police appear to be in a hurry to close the case as
accidental drowning, even before the viscera report and finger print
findings, The statement of Warrior group singer and that of Teotonio D
Souza, expose the canard of Fr being drink happy, wayward individual to
have spent the night at Manos with two boys of doubtful integrity

Raipur:

Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) functionary Indresh Kumar on Sunday 
questioned why there has been no Maoist attack on institutions of Christian 
communities, saying this needs an explanation.

"Why have churches never been targeted by the Maoists?" he asked while talking 
to a group of reporters at the new circuit house in the state capital where he 
earlier addressed a function organized by Forum for Awareness on National 
Security (FANS).

Referring to the Maoist problem in many states, including Chhattisgarh, he said 
the RSS favors the return of Maoists to political mainstream.


Earlier, speaking at the FANS function, he said Maoists should do a 
self-introspection on what they have achieved with their over three decade-long 
armed struggle and whether their ideology and activities have benefited the 
society.

"We don't consider Maoists as enemies. But the CPI (Maoist) has to do an 
introspection about what they have gained with their movement," he said.

"Let me ask the Maoists three basic questions. Have you been able to generate 
employment for the youth? What is your contribution towards development of 
infrastructure and what about educating the masses in their areas?" he said.

The RSS functionary said that instead of providing employment, people are 
becoming unemployed and instead of building infrastructure even roads are being 
dug up and destroyed by the Maoists. "Media should also pose these questions to 
Maoists," he said, adding that growth of any society was directly linked with 
many factors including education, employment opportunities and infrastructure 
development that improve the quality of life of the people.

Pope Francis on Monday noted there was a strong growth in vocations to the 
priesthood and ?religious ?life from among the gypsy people, holding out an 
Indian bishop from among them as case in ?point.

??“Today we have with us Bishop Devprasad Ganawa, a son of this people,” Pope 
Francis said, ?pointing ?to the first bishop from among the gypsies.

Bishop Ganawa, who belongs to India’s Bhil tribe, was appointed in 2009 by Pope 
Benedict XVI to head the diocese of Jhabua in the northern Indian state of 
Madhya ?Pradesh, and then in 2012 to Udaipur in the state of Rajasthan.

Pope Francis’ remark? came in his meeting with some 7000 gypsies from around 
the world who on Oct 26 ended a 4-day ?pilgrimage to Rome, to commemorate 50 
years of the historic visit of Blessed Pope Paul ?VI to a ?gypsy ?camp in 
Pomezia, near Rome. ?

?“Dear consecrated people, your brothers and sisters look up to you with trust 
and hope for your ?role ?and all you are able to do for reconciliation within 
society and the Church,” the Pope told the ?religious ?and priests from among 
the nomadic people. He urged them to accompany their ?people not only in ?their 
spiritual journey but also in their daily life with all their struggles, joys 
and ?preoccupations. ?

Noting that the nomadic people are subject to discrimination, Pope Francis 
said, ?“No one must feel isolated and no one is entitled to trample on the 
dignity and the rights of ?others.” adding, “Time has come to uproot secular 
prejudice, preconceived ideas and ?the ?reciprocal diffidence that are often at 
the base of discrimination, racism and xenophobia,” ?the Pope stressed.

The Pope's meeting with Gypsies wore a carnival look with music and dance. At 
the end, the Pope crowned a statue of the Virgin Mary with Jesus.

New Delhi:

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condemned the Nov. 13 terror attacks in 
Paris, but back home in India, he allows Hindu fundamentalists to lash out 
against religious minorities, activists say.

Joining world leaders for the G20 summit in Turkey, Modi suggested a series of 
steps to address religion-linked terrorism.

"Terrorism is a principle global challenge," Modi said Nov. 15, two days after 
the devastating Paris attacks claimed by the Islamic State group.

"We must isolate those who support and sponsor terrorism, and stand with those 
who share our values of humanism," Modi said in his address, according to a 
text of his speech.

However, activists in India say Modi is employing two vastly different messages 
for two different audiences.

"Modi has two faces: one for India and another for outside India," said Father 
Sebastian Poomattom, vicar general of Raipur Archdiocese in Chhattisgarh state, 
which has witnessed a series of attacks on Christians since the Hindu 
nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party, which backs Modi, came to power.

In neighboring Madhya Pradesh state, Christian leaders have recorded more than 
100 attacks on people and churches since Modi's party took power there in 2003. 
More than 20 of these attacks came in the last six months, but local police 
have not arrested any perpetrators, Christians say.

Some extremist Hindu leaders have publicly called for India to be cleared of 
Muslims and Christians by 2020, while other fundamentalists have urged strict 
population control measures for minority religions in the Hindu-majority 
nation. Modi and his administration, critics say, have stayed silent.

At least two Muslims were recently killed on issues linked with the consumption 
of beef - many Hindus consider cows to be sacred - and at least six churches 
were attacked in New Delhi alone since Modi came to power in 2014. But Modi's 
administration often dismisses such violence as sporadic crimes.

Hafiz Ahmed Hawari, head of the group All India Jamait-ul Hawarin, told 
ucanews.com that religion-based violence is increasing - 
part of a climate of fear for minority Christians and Muslims in India.

John Dayal, a prominent Christian activist, believes Modi's remarks at the G20 
are a screen for his domestic policies.

"Prime Minister Modi thinks he is making common cause with perceived anti-Islam 
feelings in western people, political groups and governments," said Dayal, who 
is also a board member with ucanews.com.

Vijayesh Lal, a member of the Evangelical Fellowship of India, said Modi should 
translate his words against religious terrorism abroad into action within India 
itself.

"Terror should be equally condemned whether it is in India or abroad," he said.

However, members of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party said religious minorities 
should not equate their "minor problems" to the terrorism of the Islamic State 
group.

"It would be erroneous on the part of Christians and Muslims ... to equate law 
and order problems and petty communal tension in India with the scale of 
terrorism Islamic terrorists have unleashed the world over," said Jagdambika 
Pal, a parliamentarian with the party.

Sudesh Verma, another party leader, said: "In the last two days even liberal 
thinkers in Pakistan are talking about corrective steps in their backyards. But 
in India some people try to drag out another kind of debate. It's uncalled for 
and unfortunate."
