Mahatma Ghandi is the most revered , prominent celebrated political stalwart.He is the only Indian politician whose monuments grace skline of countries. The respect he commands by virtue of his intellectual wisdom is phenomenal.His Samadi is visited by foreign heads of countries as a mark of respect, the Angel of peace and nonviolence must be elevated in line with Patel Nehru et all . He is the father of the Nation privileged to to adorn Indian currency , stamps. Institutions ,Hospitals etc are named in his honour. He stood for values of honesty, swadeshi, truth, abstinence from crown of political power and glory , emancipation of Harijans, non violence, promotion of Khadi , basic education , elimination of poverty and unity of Nation. In the past Ghandi Jayanti was an yearly ritual for announcing, launching various welfare projects and schemes consistent with his ideals, principles and values .It pains me today that his memory is reduced to dirt, to so called phenomenon Swach Bharat ., wherein for hour or two every institution will devote to cleanliness. The cess for Swach Bharat is engulfed into a black hole of unaccountability or visibility on the ground. It appears to be ONE day in a year wonder to clean INDIA in the name of MAGATMA* Is that what he stood for and sacrificed his precious life as the martyr ? ...It is greatest dishonour to this great man to be associated with this fad as the inglorious tribute to his immense contribution as the tallest leader of India and the world . Dear Commissioner CCP-GOA DEAR SIR My request to you to stop public vehicles entering in the fish market road in Panjim. I see many people coming to buy fish with 2 and 4 wheelers in this busy road. Can you stop these vehicles entering in this road and make it pedestrians only? May be RTO be informed on the request of public? Probably certain vehicles/ trucks may be allowed only early morning before 5 or 6 am and late evening after 10 pm for unloading stock for sale.
