Dear All,

There was an accident this morning on the Al-Khor RD. 12 nurses and a driver
was involved. 3 persons died on the spot. The remaining 9 are in critical
condition.

One of the victims was pregnant and was due this month. Both mother and
child died.

Appreciating Mr. Bruno, your article " CM, Ministers, and MLA's are Anti 
Goans ", my eyes also opened, and forced me to write few lines. Request 
all my Goan brethren, better late than never to be more alert now 
onwards to protect our young generation, from the clutches of these devils.


These are proven and standing facts, Lucifer and his devils are ruling 
GOA. They do not have any other job, but very busy in selling our mother 
land by destroying greenery of our beautiful green land, even hills, 
mountains, and dense forests not spared by these corrupt and criminal 
politicians.


UTT GOENKARA ANI LAG TANCHE FATIK BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.

No peace in GOA.
No good news on paper.
Every morning news you will find different crimes, rapes and murders, 
almost daily taking place in GOA, most of the politicians and their 
children too are involved in drugs scandal rapes etc.


Dear Goan brethren why we should tolerate this ? L et us all decide with 
one voice in the coming next election and wipe out all these devils and 
put a young generation in power to rule beautiful GOA.

SUGGESTION IN THE INTEREST OF THE GOAN COMMUNITY TO REVIVE
   DGSC.

A vacuum has been felt on the Goan Community on the social, cultural
and sports front in the past few years, a place which former members
of Doha Goans Sports Club seek to close in with the revival of the
oldest Goan club in Qatar, established in 1985.

A suggestion to revive the old club has been taken by veterans of club
in consultation with youth members of the Goan community based in
Qatar. The motto of the club is to support youth and children, and
promote their individual talent. The decision to revive the club
enjoys equal support among the Ex. Doha Goans in Goa as well as the
Goan Cultural Organizers in Qatar.

The club seeks to promote sports, cultural and education related
activities among the community.
Incidentally, DGSC were the first one to come up with the concept of
the Annual May Queen.

DGSC seeks to provide support to the Church related activities and
also join other charitable organization in helping needy people, with
special emphasis on supporting Goan brothers and sisters during their
trouble times in Qatar.

It may be noted that the DGSC was temporarily handed over jointly to
Goan Welfare Association to comply with the arrangement arrived at by
the then Parish Priest of Qatar Fr. Lester Mendonca, in order to bring
the different clubs under one banner, with a view to promote harmony
and unity amongst the Goan Community in Qatar.

Obviously, it was a good suggestion, and some percentage has had been
achieved, however, we DGSC wants 100% results. So let's jointly have
an open forum, elect a popular and dynamic President and a dedicated
team (COMMITTEE) to carry forward the aims, aspirations and
expectations of the Goan Community in Qatar.

[Goanet] Goan community in Qatar football selection trials

Goan community in Qatar football selection trials

Goan community in Qatar will hold selection trials to select age-group 
football teams, the date, time and venue which will be announced shortly 
after the end of the ongoing school exams.


Accordingly selected players will be assigned to the Under-13, Under-15, 
Under-17 and Under-19 teams and will receive regular coaching throughout 
the year.


The short-listed players will also play a series of practice matches 
here in Qatar and also in Goa as part of the training programme.


Interested players are to report to Antonio Joao Vaz at the venue, 
accompanied by a guardian.


Former India internationals, state and club level players besides 
football administrators will be part of the programme.
