Re: [Goanet] Who killed Scalett Keeling

2009-02-16 Thread Philomena Fernandes
I agree with Ignatius, we do not try to cover the crime, but let us investigate
as
to who actually killed her, before trying to push the blame on the conduct of
the
mother.

Ignatius I am with you all the way.

CONVENTION OF THE GOAN DIASPORA FROM GOA INTO THE WORLD
Lisbon, Portugal June 15-17, 2007 Details at:
http://www.casadegoa.org

Hi there Goans,

If Goans themselves try throwing stones on one another, it is obvious that
others will take advantage of us.

In the first place Dr. Carmo, whether from Florida or anywhere in the world
has no right to call anyone any names. Politics is Politics and people are
not blind to what is going on around and especially since you Dr. Carmo are
nowhere in Goa, you should be sitting tight wherever you are instead of
commenting like the king of Politics.

It is sad that a person with a degree of Dr. attached to his name can stoop
low enough to hit back with names. There is a saying one pig recognizes
another - so what say do you belong to that brand? So please for God's sake
stop writing and corresponding if you are not able to have rational and
decent discussions, one goan to another, to build up the community rather
than destroy it and let others take advantage of us. It is united we stand
and divided we fall. So Dr. Carmos please if you can build and tie the bond
between Goans stronger, you are welcome to continue giving your "decent and
rational" comments, or please refrain from any further discussions.

I hope you and all our other Goan brethren take this in the right spirit.
It has always been the pride of Goans and envy of others who have been
seeing and knowing us Goans to be "Susegad - Loving, warm and caring
people". So let us continue in the same trend and live harmoniously with
peace and love in our midst.

God Bless - Philomena, Kuwait.

Hi Roland,
Well do convey our warm regards to Francis. In the first place it is sad to
notice that our Goans, who were once known as "Susegad" and "Loving, caring
people" have oflate been noticed trying to put one another down and are
just happy being unhappy.

If they are unable to take zest and humor in the right spirit then they
should refrain from going through the material. At least I have been
noticing most of the time how they pick up on one topic that rubs their
wound and make a big issue of it.

Come on all you goans, let us learn to enjoy this short life in the right
spirit. Bring the best out in one another, encourage one another, and when
you see one of our Goans reaching for the stars feel proud of it.

It gives me immense joy when I see any of our Goan brothers or sisters doing
well, and I can point out to others and say that's my Goan brother who is
there making a name for himself and indirectly for all of us goans.

So do convey to Francis, if the world does not know how to laugh, let them
sit alone and cry but don't join the row of the crying lot. Laugh, spread
humor and make this world a better place.

God Bless - Philomena (Kuwait)

Hi All Goans,

Being a Goan away from Goa and residing in Kuwait, it really made me feel
good to have a site like this, where we goans could be linked together
sharing our joys, sorrows and bring good memories of old to mind. It felt
like we could all share a firm bond together as one family from Goa, but it
is very disturbing to read at all time retaliation and getting back to one
another in the form of religious discussions or may be it regarding Goa.
Why can't we all strive to either do what we can to make Goa better or just
keep out of it if you can do nothing about it, but why rub on the wrong side
of one another and create bitterness.

I thought this site was to make us more united rather than keep us wondering
what's going on?

Please keep away from all religious discussions, each one knows what he is
doing and each has his own way of having a relationship with God. Each one
will answer for himself on the day of judgment and so why do we keep minding
one another's business.

Hope we all can start afresh, anew and let love surround every topic
bringing joy and hope to all especially those who are far from home and feel
good hearing news from other Goans around the world.

God Bless - Philomena Fernandes
