It looks like every state every taluka has something or the other named after
Rajive Gandhi, be it stadium, Airport etc etc

In Goa too we have Rajiv Ghandi Goa Medical College, Rajive Gandhi IT which is
2/3 kms from GMC, Rajiv gandhi Kala Mandir Ponda etc etc

I think these are the games played by the rulling congress in the states to
impresss the congress high command the widow of Rajive Gandhi 'Sonia'

How about a new 'Bank of Rajiv Gandhi' in Swiss and 'Rajiv Gandhi Bofors Guns
factory'  in Sweden ?

To Goanet -

The proposed IT Habitat (i.e. Dayanand Narvekar's land scam) 
is named after Rajiv Gandhi.  The opponents of the IT Habitat 
want to let it simply remain a nature preserve but want to name 
it after the same Rajiv Gandhi.  My question is, WHY?  Is there 
no Goan, living or deceased, worthy of the honour?

Every second building, structure, park and institution
in Delhi is named after some member of the Nehru-Gandhi
dynasty.  Except for Jawahar, the rest are third raters (and
I am not talking about political differences here).  If quarks 
had been discovered in India I am sure we would have had 
the Rajiv quark, the Indira quark, the Rahul quark and the 
Sonia quark.

Indians should hang their heads in shame.
