 Nice to read about the old bands as we grow older here 
the was the Syndicates... The Big City Band (They even had a cassette.. I 
misplaced it..) Cascades... Purple Rain some names still to be added if 
anyone knows please do add... those bands were the greatest of all times... 
isnt it..?

Hi Frederick,



I would like to bring to your attention that there was a family band =
parents + 8 children who used to perform in the Panjim gardens, mando
festival and specially in Clube Nacional and Clube Vasco da Gama known as
SANTIMANO FAMILY BAND.

May be the old timers have heard about this famous family band in the mid
60?s???

There isn't anything particularly sad about this Stephen, as this is
work-in-progress. Given the nature of the task, it is improbably (and
impossible) that an exhaustive list can be completed by any one person.
Which is why, inputs are being sought from all who know and have details of
specific bands.
On the Wikipedia, no page is "final", and it's always open to correction
and improvement.
Names received will be included. In fact, you could edit it as well (just
ensure not to do it carefully).
