The Chief Justice of India and all Supreme Court judges have furnished
details of their assets on the official website. Some of the retired
Supreme Court judges have even voluntarily displayed their assets.
Though a meeting of the judges of the Bombay High Court had taken a
decision on 2nd September 2009 to declare their assets there seems to
have been no follow up action. Why is it taking the Bombay High Court
over two years to comply with one of its own decisions? Is it that
some judges want to conceal their assets from the public domain?
