I guess it's always very easy to mock other people's beliefs ...
If Julia Roberts decides to change her religion -- for whatever
reasons, real or perceived -- we need to respect that decision.
Just as nobody (in my view) has the right to dismiss those who changed
their faith, centuries ago, as being "rice christians" or whatever.
They know why they changed their religion (even assuming it was
forceful), and if their descendents choose to continue in it, so be
it. Berating people for the position they've taken would be
condescending, if not worse.
