The video footage presented by whom so ever to the press is ambiguous. The
image is unclear and voice does not match Varun Ganadhi’s. It is also
mysterious that it took 11 days for the tape to surface after his speech. In
today’s digital technology and availability of voice mimicry actors it is
not impossible to do any alteration to video by morphing. There are many in
the SP, BSP and Congress parties who would have a motive to do so in
order to pit Muslims against Hindus and provoke the sentiments of
Minorities and instill a feeling of insecurity in their psyche.
If Varun Gandhi has said these words in reality then he must be a fool,
because only stupid persons would say such things and destroy one’s
political career. In any event, especially in politics, there is nothing
as good as negative publicity! This move by the forces behind the tempering
of this tape will backfire on them as Varun Gandhi will win more sympathy
from Hindu voters, take example of Gujarat how Sonia’s remarks on Modi ,
“Merchants of Death” proved to be a disaster for Congress in Gujarat.
In any case, he is innocent until proven guilty. The tape does not support the
forensic test. Though, of course, the CEC and the Media has decided, in its
wisdom, that he is guilty until proven innocent. What a travesty !!
