Letter in today's Herald - ***** Pleading for survival Dias, Canacona I am aggrieved to see that the forest of loliem (Vaturem and Tansi) is under severe threat of surviving . Land sharks from Delhi have already purchased large forest area and have started cutting and chopping of many trees in this area. So what do we do now? According to the resident "intellectual," we should all "introspect." According to the cut & paste genius, we Goans should "look deeper" for the cause of all this. O but wait, this could also be a secret ploy to prop the BJP seat in Canacona. Listen to the cackling of your wise men, O Goans. Introspect and look deeper.
