If we expose them, perhaps we shall able to save their lifes. Catholic Church Truth seeker Cip - Dear Glenda, I have gone through all this things before when i was the Parish Youth President. Ours was the active organisation with around 50+ members. The Sarpanch (also the club president)from our village told me to join the club with the members. When we refused the offer the sarpanch offered FRIDGE, TV ETC.. to the preist to disband our group he suceed. We tried to explain to the priest who never listen to us and in the sunday sermon told all the wrong things abt. our group. We approched the Goa Parish youth Leader and he tried his best but in vain... Since it was a Parish group we could not continue. There are many many things more but i dont want to write here... I have written to the bishop's house at least two or three times in the past but no reply. We do not have any meetings as such and so how to voice our resentments? could you give us an idea to bring to the notice of the bishop the unwanted things going on in the church? I would be obliged. http://www.GOANET.org This month's Goanet operations sponsored by Mrs. Daisy Faleiro Dear Borg Catholic Church is a registered body registered under the Maharastra society act of 1868.Actually those who are baptised and have become Roman Catholics should have been made the members of the society but the church has kept this as a secret. The reason for this to be kept secret is for fear of losing the authority of governing and emblizing the funds. The catholic church is governed by the Canon Law which is accepted by the governments of all nations. Hindu religion and Muslims are not registered under any society act and they do not have any assets like us.Secondly each temple has their own committees and they do not have bishops and popes.
