Even jokes in the Hindi language are written in Roman Script. Some examples
below. Nevertheless, this is not a new phenomenon. Just like all languages,
Hindi too is having to face-up and deal with the English language, which IS
the language of choice for all communication around the world.
Film magazines like Filmfare, Cine Blitz, etc are in the English Language.
If the millions of Indians in the Diaspora are going to continue to speak
Hindi and not read/write it...why even Roman Hindi may be the necessary
evil to turn to.
