Re: [Goanet] Visual Learning

There is a lot of material available on P2P networks on Speed learning
programs which use a lot of Visualizations.

Some material by Paul Scheele and Win Wenger like Einstein factor or
Photoreading and Genius Code.

A good introduction is The Genius code which is an introduction for this
accelerated learning programs.

Hi Tony,

Wikipedia information is not always trustworthy. There are many beautiful books
written on the subject of use of visual imagery in learning. One of the best is
Thinking in Pictures by Temple Grandin, a highly accomplished high
functioning autistic.

Cheers,

Santosh

Hi Santosh,

Thanks for the information. Patrice Riemens also pointed out the same and
pointed me to the wikipedia site for it. I hadn't checked it out. I called
it visual learning for want of a better term. I had come across this
technique in an article that I read in the Readers Digest as a young school
boy, some forty odd years ago. All my life I have practiced it and found it
quite successful. With sufficient exposure, one can visualize pages of
textual matter or notes quite easily. It just requires practice.
