[Goanet] Why do you always think negative ?

2013-12-27 Thread Ana Maria Fernandes
Any ordinary wedding now a days lakhs of rupees are spent. People always want a
grand show. Why can't our present chief minister celebrate his son's wedding ?
Secondly he has every right to spend money. Of course not above his income. Why
do some people like leeches talk against the chief minister ? It is difficult
to change the government. A minister alone should not be held responsible for
any thing. See you want a birthcertificate. The person says come after fifteen
days. what do you do ? put a five hundred rupee note and get your job. Is
Parrikar responsible ? He is the head of the state. He has people under him to
do the work. Vigilance department to check the polution. no body does his job
but the disease germ had entered in 1963 when Parrikar was in school may be. No
body said anything but accepted what has been done. A job in the government
cost between 9 lakhs to 25 lakhs. we pay for that job. has any one questioned
the person who paid the money as from where he has brought the money ? When you
point out a finger at others one finger points out to us. There are some people
who take others to court and when their both hands are suitably greased and
their feet too they cooly withdraw. These type of people have no right to open
their mouth and call others a rogue. They have no job at hand but to black mail
others and get money from them.

Res:- It
depends what one perceives as “ordinary”. Ordinary Court weddings just cost the
Judicial fees.

Res:- Who
says he is not celebrating? Has he stayed out of it?

3.- Of
course not above his income.

Res:- “Income”
is not only salary; it is whatever ‘comes IN’.

4.- Why do
some people like leeches talk against the chief minister ?

Res:- ‘Leeches’
don’t talk, they suck blood!

Res:-
Right! Not anything, but everything under his control.

6.- no body

Res:- If a
disease affected you in 1963, should present doctors not eradicate it?

there are two-toed animals??

Res:- Don’t
go by ‘black mail’! Send by ‘speed post’ to police or vigilance! You relent
only when you are on the wrong.

10.- Why do
you always think negative ?

Res:- YES!
Why do you?

How can we change anything if we accept degeneration and add to it by such
comments. The buck unfortunately stops with Parrikar! People are full of
anxiety and tension, striving to make ends meet and have no time to waste.
Law and order deteriorating, our lives in danger, traffic madness, Casinos,
massive government corruption and foreign jaunts etc. The System forces one
to be corrupt, and so let us all like Remo and Dean DCruz and countless
others join the AAP to do something about it rather than
pontificate. THE SYSTEM HAS TO DRASTICALLY CHANGE!
Yes,no one is perfect and we all have to help each other, SERVE not RULE.

I believe that both John Eric and Ana Maria are making good points.

1: re: Spending large amount of funds on weddings: I see NO sensible reason to
spend excessive funds on such functions. BUT, if it is an individual's money,
who am I to advise somebody else how he should spend his/her money?

2: That having been noted, even special and third-party discounts ( I am
speaking in generic terms) offered to an individual in power is equivalent to a
bribe.

3: This is the issue which doctors (also) need to consider, when accepting
gifts from Pharma Companies. Some doctors are even brazen enough to demand
'gifts' from Pharma reps.

4: How are Goa based doctors doing in this regard?

5: I agree with Ana Maria that one cannot blame Parrikar for everything that is
wrong with Goa's civil service et al. However, he is the chief and the buck
absolutely stops with the chief. I remember reading and watching his speeches
when he set in Opposition and promised that he had the answers.

6: Tough as it is, IF Goans had refused to accept and offer and pay bribes ( of
any sort ) to civil servants et al, life may have been tougher but they
would have a leg to stand on.

7: One afternoon we refused to play Bakshish at Dabolim airport and paid the
price of being delayed by several hours. It was tough but something we had to
do. I have consistently refused sops and dollies from Big Pharma . and am
quite comfortable refusing medical samples. Do not know, however, what I would
do IF the Goa PoPos enter my hotel room or home and plant evidence.

8: I am surprised that Aires, Floriano, Nisser, Stephen, Claude, Mayabhushan et
al have not yet been sent for Potency Tests.

9: I have no evidence yet that ONE single doctor or Women's Group member would
object to this being done without reason. BTW: I have no evidence either that
anybody objected to 'team vaginal examinations' of young ladies who (rightly or
wrongly) complain of being raped.

10: Let us never forget: What THEY do to others today, THEY will do to us
tomorrow.

“First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out..."
11: Ask yourself : Do you really feel like celebrating on Dec 19?
