Sir,

Re: Khalap seeks Governor's intervention to halt State-Centre hostilities - [NT 19.9.12 - Illegal Mining Issue].

Enter Shah Commission's critical Report on Goa's illegal mining, feathers of the nexus between politicians, bureaucrats and mining barons have been fluttered to no extent and an attempt is being made to cover up the crimes against the 'Aam Aadmi' who is now sought to be flogged when the aam aadmi has been taken for a jolly good ride with his environs spat upon and desecrated when the going was good. One look in the general direction of Goa, specifically the mining belts, it will be noticed that aam aadmi did never figure in the looting and plundering scheme of things. It is only when the inner precincts of the all collective 'ALIBABA' have been penetrated ad exposed for what they are by the probing Shah Commission Report, everyone is suddenly very much interested in the welfare of the aam aadmi when otherwise he/she was made use of and forgotten. No, let Mr. Khalap realize that the cake will not be had and be eaten too. The topmost priority of the present Manohar Parrikar Government will be to unleash the CBI alongside the ED [Enforcement Directorate] to unearth the disproportionate assets of one and all who has been connected to the Goa's mining industry for the last DECADE if he is true to his 'ZERO TOLERANCE TO CORRUPTION' handle. The recovery of the loot of Rs. 35.000 crores along with the outright confiscation of the disproportionate assets of these players will more than take care of the AAM AADMI for the next decade or two. Let the sorry pontification stop and work towards the massive recovery begin in right earnest with the 'jails' getting the occupancy that they deserve. The AAM AADMI will no more tolerate the pulling of wool over his/her eyes.
