I was wondering what the original post had to do with goanet readers especially since it did not have any information /commentary by the Goan author/poster as to the relevance to Goans. However the comments the post received in reply was hilarious. All the responders having comfortably nestled themselves in the embrace of the White Anglo-Saxons and the Catholic Church are preaching to the Browns and Blacks about the nefarioius activities of the same White race. To me it is similar to the chidren of immigrants in America being against new immigrants. Can someone explain to me how this psychology works? Thanks in anticipation. regards,GL

Who is this Tom deSouza and what is he babbling about? Some of our Goans are so easily swayed by whatever the white clerics say. He rattles off the names of fellows called Burke, Schneider, Mueller, etc - all white of course. Only whites can decide on church policy and Goans are meant to follow their decisions humbly. And this Tom is advising reciting the 'Holy Rosary'? Did Christ have anything to do with the Rosary? And what has he got against Pope Francis? And was Pope JPII any better? These Popes are all the same - all disgracefully Eurocentric. Pope Alexander VI (who by the way sired 10 children!) as Supreme Head divided the vast land of the Americas between two Euro nations - Spain & Portugal. Not a thought for the Blacks & the Browns. There seem to be many Blacks and Browns or Yellows who are happy to have white people tell us when to kneel and stand.Aren't the Goans all flocking to the SFX feast next week, thinking that he brought Catholicism to Goa - when, in fact, he spent about 6months in Goa, authorized the Inquisition and slavery, and wrote that we Indians shouldn't be admitted to the Jesuit Order because we're inferior to the Japanese, and other such choice comments.
