[Goanet-News] The Indian man who sings with his fingers ... Ian Gomes (ex-Calcutta)
The Indian man who sings with his fingers The famous Ritz Hotel in London has had a resident pianist for the past twenty-two years. His name is Ian Gomes and he's known for being able to play anything from Taylor Swift to Tchaikovsky. During his career - spanning an incredible fifty years - he's also got to play for some rather famous people, including his idol Frank Sinatra. Emily Webb went along to meet Ian at his favourite spot …in front of the piano in the hotel's Palm Court. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p051f068 Thanks to Eric Pinto (US) for sharing this link! -- FN * +91-9822122436 * 784 Saligao 403511 Bardez Goa *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Join a discussion on Goa-related issues by posting your comments on this or other issues via email to goa...@goanet.org See archives at http://lists.goanet.org/pipermail/goanet-goanet.org/ *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
