ST. MICHAEL'S CHURCH
Series of three concerts held in October 2023 by Stuti Choral and String
Ensemble. The shows were held at Loutolim, Anjuna and Old Goa. This is from
St Michael's Church, Anjuna on Saturday, Oct 14, 2023 at 7 pm.

STUTI is directed by Parvesh Java. Concertmaster is Eshvita Menezes.
Pianists are Nadine Jo Crasto and Smit Shah. String ensemble leaders are
Judyline Fernandes, Chernoll Mendonca, Shannon Fernandez, Joy Peter,
Saranga Cooray and Jasiel Peter. Vocal soloists were Farah Ghadiali, Oscar
Castellino, Rahul Bharadwaj and Subin Mathai.

“Requiem” by Brahms.  "Not 'German Requiem' as people like to think,"
conductor Parvesh Java told this channel.  "There is a history to the name,
but it wasn’t Brahms’ own choice." The soloists this evening were Farah

[Goanet-News] XCHR Pre-Launch Book Review Photos and YouTube Video.

Dear Friends,

XCHR organized a Pre-Launch Book Review on its latest publication, *The
Jesuits, Goa and the Arts *on the 12th of October, 2023. This book review
was presented by Dr. Kelli Wood, Dale G. Cleaver Asst. Professor of Art
History at the University of Tennessee. She is a Fulbright Scholar to
India. Dr. Anthony da Silva, S.J., the director of XCHR, moderated the
event.
