[google-appengine] Re: Intermittent Google 502 error pages
There is a google group for Appengine Downtime Notifications. Some problems will not show on the service dashboard as they may not be testing your problem or be in the same set of machines. The service dashboard isn't all that useful. https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/google-appengine-downtime-notify/l81O9JzXrvw On Wednesday, June 25, 2014 3:38:34 PM UTC+8, notreadbyhumans wrote: Downtime notifications? Re: [google-appengine] Re: images.GetUrlBase deadline problems since yesterday morning
Let me haunt this thread, instead of creating a new one: DeadlineExceededError: The API call images.GetUrlBase() took too long to respond and was cancelled. My app received these errors today, during a time period, for the first time It's pretty devastating losing an uploaded image, and potentially a user because of errors like these Any ideas? Will it re-occur, should I improve my upload routines? Thanks in Advance -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Google App Engine group. [google-appengine] Search API Usage off the chart! Like 100K off the chart.
I almost had a heart attack looking at my dashboard. My max budget is $20/day but the dashboard is saying that I have used over $100K of Simple Searches. I'm guessing it's a bug because I don't get that kind of traffic ever and my budget is not exceeded. Would love to get some clarity from the app engine team. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Google App Engine group. I've noticed that a few other items are pretty high but their have been no spikes in actual usage. Okay looks like something was fixed now showing rational number. I think I might frame the printout of my previous dashboard. Nope it's back again. 2,147,483,771 simple searches is quite the number. On Wednesday, June 25, 2014 2:30:12 PM UTC-7, Will Reiher wrote: I almost had a heart attack looking at my dashboard. 111 is the binary equivalent of 2,147,483,771 On Wednesday, June 25, 2014 2:30:12 PM UTC-7, Will Reiher wrote: I almost had a heart attack looking at my dashboard. [google-appengine] Will cloud Dataflows replace the MapReduce/Pipeline API?
Hi, At the keynote of the Google I/O this year was mentioned about a new API/service called Cloud Dataflow. Will it replace the current (and still in preview) MapReduce API? I don't want to have to refactory my code suddenly. Thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Google App Engine group. [google-appengine] Re: Anybody interested in a Datastore Manager for GAE?
SDK 1.9.7, from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jcgYI7rlCg. will bring a local console that matches the cloud console. Also they're showing a new Big Data menu, related to the new Data Flow API (a new Hadoop). I wonder how easy will be to use Docker, and whether or not it'll be required, or even mandatory.
