 Can anyone tell me if:

 2. How can I use the naked domain and redirect it to www.emlakair.com or
visa versa from the developers console or another method?

[google-appengine] Re: Cname records for both naked and www domains

2015-08-28 Thread Richard Cheesmar
UPDATE: ***

Naked domain is now working again, but I still need to replace that with a
www domain in the Cname record so that I can get the domains emails.
Therefore, I need to know how to update the Cname record to point to
www.emlakair and and then redirect to a naked domain, which I won't have a
Cname record for... Sheesh!

Anyone know how to get around this?

 Hi all,

For anyone that's interested, I've published an alpha version of a library

At the time of writing, this is only available from Python/Java/Go with

So, here it is for those of us using PHP.

 https://github.com/tomwalder/php-appengine-search

It uses the low-level Protocol Buffer access - just like the
 Python/Java/Go implementations.

 Enjoy - feedback appreciated!!

[google-appengine] Re: Cname records for both naked and www domains

2015-08-28 Thread Richard Cheesmar

Since posting this the emlakair.com naked domain is no longer working and
neither is the www.emlakair.com domain

Just to be clear I have a Cname record with the following values

*Name * emlakair.com

*Class * IN

*Type * CNAME

*Status * Active

*Value * ghs.googlehosted.com
I want to serve from both a www.emlakair.com and http://emlakair.com
address.

Do I have to change the name of the above record and change this to
www.emlakair.com or remove that record completely and setup a new custom
domain name and use www.emlakair from the off with a different google value?

2015-08-28 Thread Richard Cheesmar

I noticed that my mx servers were not getting picked up and I haven't
received my domains emails on my computer since I added a custom domain to
my google app project emlakair.com

Apparently, according to the whois tech support, the mail servers won't get
picked up because they use the naked domain emlakair.com and I have a Cname
record that redirects emlakair.com to google which takes priority.
Therefore I have to remove this Cname record in order for the MX records to
work.

So if I remove the Cname record that redirects, I won't have a naked domain
redirect to my GAE app...

How to get around this?

Thanks

[google-appengine] Re: Static SQLite files

2015-08-28 Thread Tomasz Jamróz
Hi,
I am facing similar problem and found out that the most probable reason is
sandbox.py not having '_sqlite3' in _WHITE_LIST_C_MODULES.
After adding _sqlite3 to _WHITE_LIST_C_MODULES in my local sandbox.py I
managed to both import sqlite3 and execute queries to the database with
script running on GAE on my local machine. After deployment, however, the
server threw 500 error. Is it possible that you fix this problem? I
understand that your policy is to encourage users to use Datastore, but in
some cases using sqlite3 is really needed for reasons of compatibility with
other apps already existing.
Thanks

[google-appengine] Re: Out of space error when deploying VM

2015-08-28 Thread Patrice (Cloud Platform Support)
Hey Matt,

I looked a little bit further into your error and I have a question. Are
you using the --docker-build=remote flag in your build (or simply not
using the --docker-build, as this is the default behavior)? It is
possible this is the issue you're currently facing here is that the remote
environment doesn't have enough memory available (I've seen it handle long
dockerfiles in weird ways). Using a local build for your deployment might
be an alternative solution here.

Lemme know if it solves your issue.

Cheers

[google-appengine] oauth2 exchange code for token

2015-08-28 Thread James Gilliam
does anybody know how to pass a user specified parameter in step1 of the
oauth2 scenario that can be retrieved when receiving the code in step2? so
one can relate the step1 authorization with step2.

[google-appengine] Re: Out of space error when deploying VM

2015-08-28 Thread Matt Hanson
I'm not using the --docker-build flag at all. I will try
--docker-build=local and report back. Thanks,

matt

2015-08-28 Thread Matt Hanson
Actually I don't think this will work as they are private images, and I get an
error that the base image isn't found.

[google-appengine] Re: Help in mapping my domain to google app engine I mistyped the registrar password

2015-08-28 Thread Nick (Cloud Platform Support)
Hi Lord Joe,

Could you possibly provide some screenshots for context? It's unclear to me
what part of the flow you're referring to.

Best wishes,

Nick
