[google-appengine] Re: Datastore Query Viewer - Ancestor GQL

2015-10-09 Thread Patrice (Cloud Platform Support)
Hi Daniel.

What do you mean by "doesn't work"? Is there an error when you run it? or
does it run and produces no results?

As far as I know GQL didn't change between old and new console, so it
should still behave as expected. I'll try to reproduce to see what's
happening. In the meantime, if you have an error, including it here would
be helpful :).

Cheers!

[google-appengine] Datastore Query Viewer - Ancestor GQL

2015-10-09 Thread Daniel Young
I found like many others being redirected to the the new datastore. My
trusty GQL ancestor query doesn't seem to work anymore

select * from <> where ancestor is key('Kind', ID)

Is there a workaround, is this considered a bug?

I'm used to the new Console now to the point where I rarely return to the
old Dashboard, even when the new Console has many flaws. I could file many
bugs, but to be honest I've become a bit disenchanted with the whole
bug-reporting process now.

[google-appengine] Incompatibilies Google App Engine, Spring, Firechat

2015-10-09 Thread Laurence Benamran
Hello :)
My team and I are developing an iOS app (native) using Google App Engine
and Framework as Spring.
We are trying to integrate Firechat, but there are some incompatibilities
between our librairies, Spring framework, Google App Engine and Firechat
(which is pretty weird because Firebase is a product made by Google ...).
Is there someone here who had to face this kind of problem, and how could
we solve it? If you have suggestion about other product we could use to
integrate "easily" a chat in our app, I'll be very happy to heard about it.
Thanks a lot, and dont hesitate to tell me if I haven't explained week the
problem.

Laurence

[google-appengine] Re: Search returning documents though no matching content found

2015-10-09 Thread Nick (Cloud Platform Support)
Hey Naresh,

This thread is somewhat off-topic since this forum is meant to be used for
more general discussion of the platform and services. It appears as though
the specific technical issue you're encountering would be better handled by
going to stackoverflow or the public issue
tracker .

The information you've provided is decent, but doesn't suffice for an issue
report. When you create your stackoverflow question, be sure to include:

* What version of the SDK you're using?
* Whether you're in dev-server or production?
* The code you use to run the query?

roll out yesterday evening to address the loading and querying speed in the

Thank you,

[google-appengine] Braintree Connection Errors - 5 Attempt to get blocked socket option

2015-10-09 Thread ankushchadda
I am trying to use Braintree in my GAE app using devserver. However I am
getting socket blocked errors.

Below is the stack trace.

This seemed to be a https issue. I have tried different approaches

a) https://github.com/agfor/braintree-python-appengine . Gave me same error

b) I thought this could be the error from this issue -
https://urllib3.readthedocs.org/en/latest/security.html#openssl-pyopenssl But
on updating required libraries , I get stuck at OpenSSL.crypto failed
import.

Any clues how to debug this?

Hello,

I'm experiencing some of these issues aswell (slowness, stream logs erratic
behaviour). In addition I found a feature missing in the new Logs Viewer,
which is the TimeZone select to change the logs to your own TimeZone. This
is very important to detect time frames at a glance without making the
conversions mentally.

I've created this feature request for all of you how want this feature back
https://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=12419

I want to add that overall I like very much the new console, kudos to all

Re: [google-appengine] Re: App Engine admin console redirects to Developers Console

2015-10-09 Thread Anastasios Hatzis
I also have these issues recently with Log Viewer (I'm accessing it with
Mac + Chrome, too). For a week or maybe two, it started to take a long time
to load more often, or hitting the play button is often ignored. Page
refresh sometimes work, sometimes even hitting the Log link in the menu
doesn't help. If it gets into such unstable state, I actually use my
bookmark to manually force the browser to load the page. I think with any
other approach the JS wizardry only tries to recover, but fails most of the
time, not really doing a fresh GET html request. Log Viewer worked pretty
good before.

I like the new Console much better, so I made the switch a long time ago,
except for Datastore backup/restore. I guess, they will figure out the
recent issues with the Log Viewer.

[google-appengine] Search returning documents though no matching content found

2015-10-09 Thread Naresh Pokuri
Hi Group,

I am using App Engine Search service for free text search. Some scenario I
am getting results though no matching content found in the tokenized text.
For search service I am passing user content after tokenizing(for
partial/like search) them. I have attached both user content and tokenized
content. When I search for *'nnn', 'eee', 'www', 'sss',* search service
returning documents though there is no content matching those strings. And
the funny part here is that pattern is directions - North-East-West-South.
Can someone help me how my document matched to* 'nnn', 'eee', 'www', 'sss'*

This is a good phone but has a Major FlawPublished
1.This phone has issues with the AMOLED SCREEN. The lower half of the front
screen is always having a red/pink tint. I tried all display settings and even
formatted the phone but nothing helped. The RED/PINK tint is more distinct
while looking at something white, for example: while reading a pdf file or
opening up the gallery application or while checking emails or while browsing
the internet when the background is white or grey ...due to the screen issue I
went to the service center ,they immediately recognized the issue and arranged
for a replacement by issuing a DOA(dead on arrival) certificate.

Well! I got the faulty unit replaced with a White Pearl Galaxy S6 against that
DOA. It was in sealed box and brand new. Man! Even this one has the same pink
tint issue . Not in the lower part of the screen like the earlier Black
Sapphire unit but now it is present on the upper half on the screen and more
pinkish on the upper left corner. It really bothers at times.

This time I decided to visit a few retail stores here in Mumbai and visited
CROMA, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales etc to have hands on with the Galaxy S6
and found out that all the black units have the pink issue on the lower part of
the screen and all white and gold units have that issue on the upper side of
the screen.

Can't help! Can not mesh around with a phone so costly.I am going for a full
refund from Samsung now.

Will buy it again if I see a perfect screen if Samsung comes up with a
resolution. I personally created a topic in the XDA forum and named it as "
Indian Galaxy S6 PINK TINT ON SCREEN" .
Readers can type the same in google and see more about this issue. All across
the globe the owners of the Galaxy S6 have been facing the pink issue with this
newly launched Samsung Galaxy S6.1.T 1.Th 1.Thi 1.This .Th .Thi .This Thi This his pho phon phone hon hone one

Re: [google-appengine] Re: "Backend Error" on Google Developer Console > Cloud Datastore > Dashboard / Query / Settings

2015-10-09 Thread 'Luke Stone' via Google App Engine
OK, that sounds like a new issue, We'll have someone reach out and
collect your app ID and details to diagnose it. It may take a few weeks
to fix in the Developer Console.

In the meantime, can you use appengine.google.com to get your work done?

I just noticed that I am getting "Backend Error" on just one of my
Cloud Console Projects, other projects are fine.
