Re: [google-appengine] Re: GAE Java is not adding response header for 'GZIP' / Content not 'GZIP'ped

2016-03-19 Thread 'Josh Moyer' via Google App Engine
Hello Deepak,
Zeehad is right. You should use stackoverflow for questions and the public
issue tracker for bug reports. However, I wanted to try and address your
issue since it seems very straight-forward.

We recently introduced a change where we will now compress responses whose
requests have the header "Accept-Encoding: gzip". You should be able to
resolve the issue by ensuring that your requests do not specify gzip in the
Accept-Encoding header.

Hello Thanasis,
Try visiting the page in a private/incognito window. If that works then
you should try clearing all of your Google cookies which will likely
resolve the problem. You might also want to try visiting [1] instead and
see if the behavior is different. Please let me know how it goes.

Re: [google-appengine] Managed VMs: Are connections drained before the weekly restart?

2015-08-25 Thread 'Josh Moyer' via Google App Engine
Hi John,
Similar to regular backend shutdowns, a Managed VM application is sent an
/_ah/stop request to give it a chance to do clean up. Existing requests
will have some time to complete, but they may get interrupted if they are
long running. I have issued a request to have the documentation that you
cited updated with this information.

error messages? Screenshots of the error (include the entire browser
