[google-appengine] Re: Maintaining dev, qa, staging, prod environments

2018-05-07 Thread 'Taher (Cloud Platform Support)' via Google App Engine

Hello Will,

It is suggested for cloud-based software projects to be employed multiple
environments
.

It's vital that these environments be completely isolated from one another,
and they typically have very different operator-access permissions.
However, it always depends on the user to choose the most suitable model
which will fulfill the needs.

Hi Joshua,

Thank you for your question. Could you elaborate your use case a bit more
so it will be helpful to anyone trying to understand the question? Please
provide information regarding the context of this situation like where you
want to give users this permission to do what task etc.

[google-appengine] Re: there is no P100 available ?

2018-03-05 Thread 'Taher (Cloud Platform Support)' via Google App Engine

Hello Arturo,

Can you elaborate more regarding your question? If you are asking whether
NVIDIA
Tesla P100 is available in
Google Cloud Platform or not, it is indeed available. If you are unable to
launch an instance with this GPU, keep in mind this is available in
specific zones
only. It is always a good idea to check the pricing of the GPUs
 before attaching those with
your instance.

Hope this helps.

[google-appengine] Re: Multiple apps on Free tier?

2018-03-02 Thread 'Taher (Cloud Platform Support)' via Google App Engine
Hi Jon,

Echoing Attila’s comment above, the free tier is indeed available only for
the App Engine Standard Environment as mentioned here
. I
encourage you to use this calculator
 which shows you an estimate
of the planned usage (not actual cost).

For more details please check this FAQ
 and the
free trial supplemental terms of service
.

Hope this helps.
