[appengine-java] Collection(folder) creation is taking 1 to 5 sec ?-any way to reduce the time?

2012-01-08 Thread aptest1 actiprocess
HI ALL,
We are creating a folder(Collection) in google documents using the
gdocs-APIs(in java) in google applicaiton engine,But to create a folder its
talking 1 to 5 seconds of the time. Is any way to reduce the time to crate
a folder or document using gdocs-APIs.
Thanks

[appengine-java] Deploying application within client's Google apps?

2011-11-22 Thread aptest1 actiprocess
Hi All,
Is their any automated way to deploy application developed in java and
Gwt in my customer Google apps.

I don,t want to be responsible for hosting or billing my customer
for hosting the application in the App Engine.
Is there a simpler way to deploy the app to their domain?
I know I can make them create their own app id and upload the app by
giving them the WAR with
a appengine-web.xml to upload.

Thanks

Thank you for reply,

Your idea is clear but In Google document list API upload option we need
to use file object, and InputStream object is restricted class in App
engine. And moreover enduser send document data in request body only.

[appengine-java] 1MB URL Fetch limit

2011-05-07 Thread aptest1 actiprocess
Hi all,
I am currently developing a content management system on App engine using
Google documents as the content store.
User needs to upload documents using HTTP post request with document
metadata and content

In application I have to collect the data from request body and create the
document in Google docs with the content and metadata
And we can able to get the data in request and store in Google docs.

But i have a problem with my application. i.e i can not upload document if
its more than 1 Mb as URL fetch not support more than 1 Mb.

http://code.google.com/appengine/docs/java/urlfetch/overview.html

please kindly help me and if u can provide me with the statistics of how app
engine is reliable.

If anyone has a suggestion, it will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

[appengine-java] Re: composit primary key issue

Hi datanucleus,

Built-in object id classes not working in Google data store,we worked
as example given in the fallowing url

http://www.datanucleus.org/products/accessplatform/jdo/primary_key.html.

but issue not resolved.

Thanks

On May 11, 10:02 pm, datanucleus andy_jeffer...@yahoo.com wrote:
Class com.atp.smartstore.DB.config.User has application-identity and no

Message seems clear enough to me. You want to have a composite PK yet
you haven't provided an object identity class; so provide one. JDO
only provides built-in object id classes when you have a single field
as PK. The DataNucleus docs define how to define your own.
