Same for my application "flexzorgnet.appspot.com". All data store update
operations fail with over-quota exception.
Quota detail seems fine and traffic is normal.

[google-appengine] Re: OverQuotaException without being over quota

2015-01-20 Thread Jason Brownell
Hi,

I am seeing the same problem regularly:

"/base/data/home/runtimes/python27/python27_lib/versions/1/google/appengine/api/apiproxy_rpc.py",

line 134, in CheckSuccess raise self.exception
OverQuotaError: The API call datastore_v3.Put() required more quota than is
available.

Even though:
 - I am nowhere near the listed quotas.
 - I have set up payment in case I do actually go over the free quota, but
I am never charged.

This is a serious problem that is crippling my app, and I cannot find a
solution or workaround. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Project ID: *valid-kayak-546* Project Number: 34331427812

Could it be related to the rate at which the app is accessing the resource,
rather than the absolute number of calls? This happens on a push task queue
where a relatively large number of calls are made in a relatively short
amount of time?? I am pretty desperate for a workaround.

Thank you,
Jason

[google-appengine] Re: OverQuotaException without being over quota

2015-06-09 Thread Michał G .
I'm also getting this exception in a billed app. While testing i made ~220k
writes over a span of several hours and now an OverQuotaException gets
raised each time i write to Datastore. Admin console shows no errors;
status of all the quotas is "Okay".

I'm a bit concerned about these hidden quotas as they can potentially mess
things up for us when we go production.

Hi Dutch,

I've just put a bandaid on flexzorgnet. Thanks for reporting.

Everyone, I opened an issue for this on our issue tracker:
http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=8525

If you still see this issue on your app, please provide your app-id on that
issue.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

2016-01-06 Thread Neela Mauli Vangipurapu

Hello,

We are intermittently getting the same issue "javax.net.ssl.SSLException:
com.google.apphosting.api.ApiProxy$OverQuotaException: The API call
remote_socket.GetSocketOptions() required more quota than is available.".
The quotas page shows the limits are sufficient. We even tried reducing the
processing speed(bucket size etc), but still there is no luck. Please note
that the amount of processing being done is same every day, but we see this
exception once or twice in every three days.

Details of our project are as follows:

shining-domain-859
Project number
1009367974008

Can you please provide us more details as to why we are getting this issue?

Neela Mauli

2016-09-29 Thread 'Nick (Cloud Platform Support)' via Google App Engine
Hey Mariano,

That appears to be a single line from a stack trace, so not much can be
determined from our end as far as what might be going wrong in your app.
You should post a complete stack trace to a new question on Stack Overflow
and provide some information about what it is
that your code is doing, and when the error occurs. Someone should be able
to get started helping you in that case. We monitor Stack Overflow
regularly and there are many more users there who will be able to assist
you. This forum is not meant for technical support on individual issues but
for higher-level discussion of the platform, services, and design patterns.

Usually when that happens, a yellow "Caution" triangle appears next to the
quota bar on the classic App Engine console (the one located at appspot.com

If you can, I would try spacing out the calls: try lowering the processing
rate

or
declaring a random countdown/eta
 for
each task.

2015-11-06 Thread Sagar Mutha
Hello,

I keep getting a

com.google.apphosting.api.ApiProxy$OverQuotaException: The API call
remote_socket.SetSocketOptions() required more quota than is available.`

exception though my quota usage only shows 24%. I have also set a daily budget
and the usage is way below that. This is really affect my app retention. Please
