The way you've phrased this implies that the web page has the word "none"r in it, which seems unlikely. Do you mean you aren't seeing the characters on the web page but instead some other characters are shown? In that case you should prob. check your encoding on the http level, in the html page that is returned and stuff like that.
Also you should probably describe exactly what you did to change them to chinese characters on the off chance someone sees something incorrect in your process.
