This is really frustrating. As we needed to deploy our service as soon as possible we couldn't because of building of indexes. Are there any other options for this? I mean, com'on, it took time to upload it, then more time on waiting for indexes to be build? Is there a minimum or maximum time to consider to declare indexes building as failed? It just like we're just waiting and all you can do is reply to us that you move it to an error state. I hope there is a better way, how about move it to a finished build state? Thanks a lot Jeff, I have been able to vacuum all my indexes but when I recreated them I got the following error: Uploading index definitions. Error 500: --- begin server output --- Server Error (500) A server error has occurred. --- end server output --- However it seems like the indexes have been created (may be some are missing, I did not count) and are building Do you think I might have further problems? Thanks. I vacuumed the indexes and they all went away. Now I'm trying to run update_indexes. I've got about 80, which is below the 100-per-app limit. Hi Drew, This is due to a known issue with the quota accounting that does not credit vacuumed indexes back to your account. Our engineering team is currently investigating this issue, but I've gone ahead and reset your index count quota. This usually takes around an hour to reset, and then you should be able to upload your index definitions. Hi, It seems that the index for this app is now serving. Hi, I've moved the indexes for this app in to the 'Error' state. This should allow you to vacuum them and re-upload the indexes.
