[google-appengine] stuck index for nearly 24 hours

2013-01-31 Thread Lawrence Kirby
Hi,

My application has a datastore index (com_orgstorm_model_Issue) that
is still building. It's been neary 24 hours. This is the first time
this has ever occurred.

I appreciate your checking it out.

Thanks.

[google-appengine] Stuck Index

2010-07-23 Thread Hudar
Hi,

Just wondering, I just uploaded blog application written in django to
appengine. The app name is hudarsono-blog

But, it has been more than 2 days, the index status still building
although there is no data there, coz it's a new empty blog. It does
run in my local testing.

Last time did appcfg index vacuum, but still no effect. Hopefully
anyone know how to solve this.

Thanks

[google-appengine] stuck index

2010-06-17 Thread sc
hello -
assuming this is still the place to request assistance with stuck
indexes...

I have an index that's been stuck for like a year.

app id: rmcloudscore

one of the indexes has the status "building" and has had this for a
long time. I tried removing the index from my yaml file, but that
didn't help.

If you could give it a kick in the gear box that would be great.

Thanks
Scott

[google-appengine] Stuck Index?

2010-04-06 Thread gadget lab
Hi

I have been trying to set up the blog based on bloog
(bloog.billkatz.com)

The when I run this locally on my own machine it works as you would
hope/ expect. However when uploaded to the GAE the indexes remain in
the state "building" and have remained as such for about 24hrs now.

I have tried the vacuum command tried deleting and recreating but to
no avail - which makes me wonder whether its me, however would it be
possible to check whether the indexes have stuck?

The app name is gadgelabsblog

The indexes should currently be empty as Ihaven't used it

Cheers

The time taken to build an index depends more on the indexes in the queue
ahead of yours than the size of your index. Index building may take up to
12-24 hours at busy times.
