As long as the bookmarklet has all its code open sourced and available, this
is fine.

Re: Why the jaikuengine wiki pages are 404 Not Found?

2009-12-23 Thread Jacob Lee
All of the wiki pages are from January and February 2009, and the
first revision in the repository was in March. So it looks like they
added a bunch of wiki pages (which are stored in Subversion) and then
reset their repository, deleting those wiki pages. I suggest you ask
about it on the Jaiku mailing list
(http://groups.google.com/group/jaikuengine-discuss). If they want to
get rid of the stale wiki page entries, have one of the project owners
file a bug at http://code.google.com/p/support/issues and we can clean
it up.

Googlecode.com security certificate invalid -- requesting fingerprint

2009-12-23 Thread Dan
Hello,

I'm trying to check code into my project (https://apprise.googlecode.com)
and svn tells me that the server's certificate isn't signed with a CA, and
asks me to verify this fingerprint:
0a:21:29:6e:13:40:12:15:48:fd:00:b7:10:a9:2d:8c:34:2d:1e:40

This fingerprint is different than the one you have listed on the Google
Code FAQ:
http://code.google.com/p/support/wiki/SubversionFAQ#What_does_%22use_the_fingerprint_to_validate_the_certificate

Can you please provide me with an up-to-date fingerprint of my project's
repository's certificate?

Thanks,
Dan

Are you using ssl? If you did a checkout over http, you can't commit.
You need to do your checkout over https://, as the instructions
indicate on the 'Source' tab.

Re: [gcj] Is Google Code Jam only for students?

2009-12-23 Thread Bartholomew Furrow
Also: students tend to have stricter schedules that they know further in
advance, so they're the ones who are speaking up in the scheduling thread.

By the way, students aren't a crazy majority or anything: in 2008 it was
about an even split, and it was something like 60-40 for students in 2009.

Nope. It's just students are the majority of participants. After one
isn't student anymore and have already spouse and children he usually
doesn't have much time for such competitions (and especially training
before it). But it's just a statistics, there're participants much
 older than the student age...
