[Google Wave APIs] 'Insert reply here' not working properly
After Wave update (Sept 26), the way to reply/edit has changed. The instant popup menu (Reply - Edit) is gone. To edit a blip, double-click within the blip + click Edit in popup menu (3 clicks) or click More actions menu + click Edit this message (2 clicks). To reply a blip, move the cursor between (Insert reply here) or after (Continue this thread) blips. Convenient, but not working correctly in some cases: - Move the cursor on last line ('Continue this thread' is displayed). - Click the line to create a blip. - Click Delete instead Done. - Move the cursor back on last line (as before). - 'Insert reply here' appears instead of 'Continue this thread'. - Click on 'Insert reply here' does nothing. --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Google Wave API group. [Google Wave APIs] Are people still receiving invitations?
As far as my knowledge goes Wave opens its doors on the 31st. I've also noticed that the developer form is no longer posted on the wave website. I submitted my form all the way back on June 6th and have never received an invitation. By this point are just not doing any more developer invites because its so close to public beta? Also will I be able to start developing and posting gadgets as soon as it opens on the 31st or will developer privileges still be in limited distribution? I've been waiting all summer for an invite so never receiving one after submitting the form in June has been kind of of depressing. [Google Wave APIs] Google Wave Open Source Code
Is there a way to edit the Open Source Code that Google Wave is getting powered by? I know their is code located at the waveprotocal.org,but what I mean is since it's open source can I edit the code that Google Wave is already being run off of at wave.google.com? [Google Wave APIs] Is it possible to play media in wave
Hello I am new in wave development and I was wondering if it is possible for the wave to play external media, or take input (e.g. record a user from its microphone) from a user.and if yes how? Can I do it using robots from the api search i show only the image and gadget class so do I have to make a gadget to do that? I am interested in building a that someone can record a message from his wave and send it to others(e.g. record a message and then the other users in the same way can liste(playback ) that message) thanks in advanced maxsap --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Google Wave API group. [Google Wave APIs] Re: Google Wave Open Source Code
They haven't fully open sourced it yet. It's a long and slow process. They're working on it. So far they've only released a few (important) pieces, namely the code at waveprotocol.org and some of the api. Also there are some strict guidelines as to how to submit contributions, so it's not like you can just freely edit their code (except in your own copy). And I don't think that it will be that way, because they need to maintain a certain level of code quality. If they just allow everyone to edit it freely, it will become a mess real quick. The code behind the server at wave.google.com and the client that interfaces with it is not opensource at this point. There is a federation reference server along with a console client which has been released as opensource. In any case it is very rare that you can edit code as a random user and see it reflected back on the server as you seem to be talking about.
