@Aaron : As you improve your robot. You can add the things you want to see
as a blip in the wavelet itself. This will make your work a bit easy. Its a
traditional debugging method but works fine.

@Aaron :
I would add something to your assumption.

Robots are nothing but servlets running on AppEngine. Their working is not
limited to sandbox. These robots have a specific function for handling the
wave. As we know, the robot is a participant of the wave as we are and
therefore can perform various operations on the wave which a gadget cannot.
Google has provided the sandbox account for debugging the robots and it also
provides some more developer tools therein. The robot also works fine with
the preview account.

I suggest you a simple testing trick. As you

I do not know much more about the gadget stuff. Even I'm working on a robot
and previously had the same assumption as yours. You will get to know lot
many things as you move on..

Re: [Google Wave APIs] Re: Abt comparison between google wave samdbox and normal google wave invitation

2009-12-20 Thread Kapil Neurgaonkar
Actually the process of getting a sandbox access is different than one for
getting a preview account. For the sandbox account Google has provided a
process which is indeed for a developer (including couple of questions, etc)

In case of normal preview accounts, Google had limited the number initially.
Also the ones who got their ID when it was launched, could invite their
colleagues (about 25). Now, some days later these invited users can in turn
invite their colleagues... and so on. To get a preview account at present,
just search for one who can send you a Wave invitation.

Till now the process is going this way. As time passes Google might make a
provision for direct Sign Up for a wave ID.

Enjoy Waving..!!
