Re: FF10, here we go again
I had the same issue. After installing the plugin provided by Filipe, it was still getting the dialog. I compiled this version for ubuntu 11.04 x64: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/24610398/gwt-dev-plugin.xpi -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Google Web Toolkit group. Deploy GWT on Google Cloud Itself?
I've got three books on GWT - and none of them talk about deployment. So once I have written my GWT application, where do I run it? a) Can I deploy it to the Google Cloud and run it there? If yes - any web links on this? Especially interesting in pricing or hosting plans. b) Do I have to run it on my own server, using Tomcat or similar? Unable to Test Asynchronous calls in GWTTestCase on an external server
I am attempting to test an asynchronous interface within a GWTTestCase where the implementation connects to an external tomcat server. I get com.google.gwt.user.client.rpc.InvocationException: Unable to initiate the asynchronous service invocation -- check the network connection Here is how I am setting up the implementation. final GetWebsiteDataAsync getAsynchronousInterface= (GetWebsiteDataAsync) WT.create(GetWebsiteData.class); ServiceDefTarget getServiceDef = (ServiceDefTarget) getAsynchronousInterface; getServiceDef.setServiceEntryPoint(http://externalHost:8080/ pathtoservlet); The Tomcat server is definitely up, and the Asynchronous calls work fine when running within a GWT application on a web browser. Accessing http://externalHost:8080/pathtoservlet directly from a web browser triggers an exception within Tomcat confirming the entry point is set correctly. What am I missing or is this just not possible? --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Google Web Toolkit group.
