I also want to add: Often used in conjunction Appache web server and Tomcat. - Move your Main Page (eg App.html) to folder httpdocs in Appache webserver - Rename it to index.html (optional) - Do not forget to specify the path to * nocache.js and *. css on the relatively Appache root dir - Please read the documentation on configuring mod_jk from your hosting provider Maybe you need to configure servlet mapping with mod_jk
