Hi, This question was asked before (2007) but I'm wondering if there's a better way to load data in the first page.
I have a shopping application that displays product data in the first page, then when you click on a product it loads a second page with more detail. It would be preferable to pass a product object to the client on the first page, so that common data elements (name, id, price) could be handled the same way on both pages. I can't see anyway to do this, aside from using a callback in the module load method to fetch the product list and then render those page elements. This adds a _very_ noticeable lag to the rendering on the first page. If I push the same data as text labels, etc. It's much faster and the page renders seamlessly. Is there any way to push non-visual data to the client on the first page? thanks -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Web Toolkit" group.
