Re: GWT Developer Plugin does not work in Chrome
Use Firefox ESR 24.8.1 or Chromium 39 from Dart distribution (though Chromium is not very stable for me, dev mode plugin is hanging up often). And try superdev mode with SDBG (if you are using Eclipse), it's not perfect, but quite usable. …and yes it's quite a shame that our tutorials still haven't been updated. Feel free to make a pull-request to update them. It's not a bug. Chrome and Firefox removed support for the API that classic dev mode required. You can install an old browser, or embrace the future and go with super dev mode. Re: GWT Developer Plugin does not work in Chrome
In Eclipse, right click on your project, then Run As --> Run Configurations. On the GWT tab, you have Super Development Mode and Classic Development Mode. I've been messing around with this for a couple of hours and the required plugin isn't compatible or won't download. Seems to be some sort of bug. I am trying to create a sample app, too. GWT Developer plugin does not work in Chrome 22 (under OSX Lion)
The plugin is installed and activated but still not work. If I try to open a gwt page in dev mode I get the request to install the dev mode plugin.
