JSNI won't be removed in 2.8.
To be future-proof, you'll want to limit your use of JSNI to the bare
minimum, and use JsInterop whenever possible, but there are still a few
things that JsInterop cannot do and that require the use of JSNI (or are
more efficient with JSNI, e.g. object literals vs. building an object one
property at a time).

How much of that has been implemented? Are there any examples of it working
anywhere?

Jsni replacement in 2.8?

2016-05-11 Thread Ali Akhtar
In GWT 2.8, what should be used in place of Jsni methods? Such as for
integrating a 3rd party js library? There was very sparse documentation
available for JsInterop last time I checked, are there any more docs
available now?
