Re: [appengine-java] CSS loads for 1 millisecond, then disappears

2009-07-06 Thread David Trejo
It was the combination of a css capitalization mistake (which may not have
mattered) and the fact that I was pulling in the GWT css which overwrote my
css. Since gwt was loading the css, I saw that slight gap between my css
being applied and then disappearing.

Thanks for helping,
David Trejo

 David,
I might guess that you're pulling in additional CSS after yours. Use
Firebug in webmode to inspect the CSS. It will tell you were all the CSS
 rules are coming from.

  Hey David,

I think this is a question you might want to ask on the GWT group.

 Hello,

I am having a problem with my CSS.

My hosted mode is a bit laggy, so when I first run the my gwt app in
hosted mode, the css successfully loads for a few milliseconds, but
when the lag stops and hosted mode settles down, my css disappears.

When I compile/browse it, the css does not even show up for a few ms
at the start, I suppose because modern browsers are so fast.

This is how I access my css:
 link rel=stylesheet type=text/css href=test.css/

I haven't been able to find anyone else who has had this problem.

** Can someone tell me why my css appears then disappears and how to
 fix it? **

My project is very minimal, at the moment all it does is serve out the
html page, with all the Java in commented out in onModuleLoad()

 Thank you,
 David Trejo
