2015-03-03 Thread Elena Mezzini
Ciao a tutti,

inerente i vari interventi.

[GRASS-user] i.modis.qc error in cloud_shadow and internal_snow_mask

2013-01-22 Thread Elena Mezzini
Hi all,
I've just tried i.modis.qc in GRASS 6.4.3svn with:

i.modis.qc input=MOD09.input_RDS_QA.tif output=MOD09.output
productname=mod09A1s qcname=cloud_shadow
i.modis.qc input=MOD09.input_RDS_QA.tif output=MOD09.output
productname=mod09A1s qcname=internal_snow_mask

it works fine, but in the wiki [1] it seems there are errors:
looking at the output: (ad also looking at the coding in NASA product
description [2])
- Cloud shadows and Internal Snow Mask
0 : no
1 : yes

Instead in the wiki:
- Cloud shadows and Internal Snow Mask
0 : yes
1 : no

[1]
file:///home/user/grass64/dist.i686-pc-linux-gnu/docs/html/i.modis.qc.html
[2]https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/products/modis_products_table/mod09a1

Maybe it's better to correct it.
Thanks.

 What do you mean precisely?

I mean that i.atcorr automatically considers negative values equal to 0. So
the results of i.atcorr with negative values or with negative values made
equal to zero are the same.
So I still have problem with all the bands of landsat probably due to DEM.

i.atcorr (the 6S code it is using to be exact) should treat negative
elevation values as elevation = 0. It is debatable if this is correct,
but in theory i.atcorr should behave accordingly. Actually, I am not
sure about it's behaviour for negative elevation values...

You could set all negative elevation values to zero,

run i.atcorr again and compare the results to the i.atcorr results using the

I had the same problem.
I don't know where your input data come from.
Now I know that it works if you use i.landsat.toar to calculate TOA
reflectance from DN images and then use these data as input files in
i.atcorr: you have also to use the flags -r (because of reflectance input)
and -f (because you need floating output).
I hope it will work!

[GRASS-user] Re: i.atcorr returns all NULL values

2011-05-13 Thread Elena Mezzini
I have the same problem, both with band 1 and 2.
I did i.landsat.toar and then i.atcorr but all the bands worked except for
band 1 and 2, these have values min=-nan and max=-nan.
There is someone who can help us?

Thank you!
Elena
