Hi Nile, please make sure that the "data" directory is readable for the Graylog user. You could also set elasticsearch_path_home and elasticsearch_path_data in your Graylog configuration file to any readable directory. As a side node, you can't use the ~ character for path settings in the configuration file (e. g. node_id_file). That's a UNIX shell speciality (and would expand to the current user's home directory).
