  STEPS:

  1. Grab the latest daily image and trigger an install
  2. On the first page notice the of centre and over scaled window

  EXPECTED:
  I expect to see something resembling a normal scaled desktop install

  ACTUAL:
  Things are not quite correct see attached screenshots

  It is not possible to install an arm64 QEMU instance from the server ISO when 
attached as a SCSI CD-ROM.

  [Test Case]
  I'm using the following commands to boot an arm64 QEMU/KVM guest:

  dd if=/dev/zero of=flash0.img bs=1M count=64
  dd if=/usr/share/qemu-efi/QEMU_EFI.fd of=flash0.img conv=notrunc
  dd if=/dev/zero of=flash1.img bs=1M count=64

  sudo qemu-system-aarch64 -enable-kvm -m 2048 -cpu host -smp 8 -M
  virt,gic_version=host -nographic -pflash flash0.img -pflash flash1.img
  -drive if=none,file=disk.img,id=hd0 -device virtio-blk-

  Currently, the installer fails because it cannot find the CD-ROM.

  Ubuntu SDK will be distributed separately from archives from now on,
  also for the development series. So far it has been delivered via SDK

  qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu and qtcreator-plugin-go source packages should
  be removed, together with changing ubuntu-touch-meta.

 conflicts on qtcreator-plugin-go, older qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu and offers a 
transitional qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu package that explains how to find the

  2. Packages 'ubuntu-sdk', 'ubuntu-sdk-libs-dev' and 'ubuntu-sdk-libs-tools' 
will be removed from ubuntu-touch seed (ubuntu-touch-meta package). 
ubuntu-sdk-libs will remain as definition of API supported by Ubuntu SDK, and 
will conflict with the three former packages and describe how to find the 
Ubuntu SDK now.

  TODO: possibly a SRU to guide more people to download the latest SDK.

Bug description:
  "SRU: backport python 2.7.12 to 16.04 LTS" (bug 1591895) has caused a
  regression in (at least) python-cassandra. Any attempt to connect to a
  cluster fails due to:

_reconnect_internal
  return self._try_connect(host)
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/cassandra/cluster.py", line 1921, in

  self_weakref = weakref.ref(self, callback=partial(_clear_watcher, 
weakref.proxy(connection)))
  TypeError: ref() does not take keyword arguments

  It would appear that Python 2.7.12 has made the permitted calling
  conventions for weakref.ref() stricter.
