This shows up primarily on Bq M10 tablets which rotate on startup. [Test Case] Install XMir on a device that supports screen rotation. Connect a client (using Libertine is the easiest way to do this). Attempt to use direct or indirect pointer input on the right side of the screen. The bug is it does nothing. [Regression Potential] This change affects only the XMir server. There is potential that XMir functionality is compromized but mainline x.org functionality is unaffected. This XMir patch update is pulled directly from Ubuntu current development release "Yakkety Yak" where it has been in production for more than 6 weeks without apparent regressions. Public bug reported: Impact == gnome-shell provides a browser plugin so that users can manage GNOME Shell extensions by visiting https:/extensions.gnome.org/ in Firefox and compatible browsers. This extension will stop working in Firefox once users upgrade to Firefox 54. Firefox 54 is scheduled for upstream release June 13, 2017 and 54 Beta has been available since April 19th. chrome-gnome-shell version 9 adds Firefox support that will keep working in Firefox 54 and beyond. There are actually two parts to chrome-gnome-shell: a system helper and a browser addon. The chrome-gnome-shell package provides the system helper.
